Google TV

Google TV only accepts a connection that the TV starts itself. If the watch tries to connect first, the TV rejects it, so always start from the TV.

On the watch

Section titled “On the watch”
  1. Open SWAMI and go to Devices.
  2. Tap Pair new device. The watch stays visible for 2 minutes.

On the device

Section titled “On the device”
  1. On the TV open Settings → Remotes & Accessories → Pair remote or accessory.
  2. Keep SWAMI visible on the watch and pick the watch on the TV. Confirm the code.
  3. To reconnect later, open Settings → Remotes & Accessories on the TV, select the watch, then Connect and Yes.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • The default control is the D-pad, like the original remote. Shake the watch to switch to the pointer.
  • Google TV has no microphone input from SWAMI: voice is dictated on the watch and typed into the search box.
  • SWAMI sends a keep-alive every few seconds so the TV does not drop the connection.
