Gestures
SWAMI reads the motion sensors of the watch to recognise hand gestures. Every gesture can be mapped to another action.
| Gesture | How | Default action |
|---|---|---|
| Pinch | Tap thumb and index finger together once | Left click |
| Double pinch | Two quick pinches | Pause or resume the air mouse |
| Pinch and hold | Pinch and keep the fingers together | Hold the left button (drag) |
| Fist | Close the hand quickly | Right click |
| Double fist | Close the hand twice | Recenter the pointer |
| Flick | Snap the wrist left or right | Left or right arrow |
| Shake | Shake the wrist briefly | Play/pause (on TVs: switch between D-pad and pointer) |
Paused air mouse
Section titled “Paused air mouse”While the air mouse is paused, SWAMI only listens for a clear double pinch, which wakes it up. Typing, resting the hand or a palm facing down do not trigger anything, so the pointer does not move while you work.
Change what a gesture does
Section titled “Change what a gesture does”Open Settings → Gestures on the watch and pick an action for each gesture: a click, a key, a media key, a macro or a SWAMI command. Each host can have its own mapping.
Calibration
Section titled “Calibration”If a gesture is missed or fires by itself, run the calibration in the gesture settings and adjust the sensitivity. Calibration is stored per hand.
